Mezze is unique, not just because it provides excellent Moroccan fare, but a portion of the dining area can be converted to a stage so that entertainment can be provided during the evening. The restaurant is the second by the owner of San Chez Bistro, which is next door to Mezze, in downtown Grand Rapids. Because the project is located in a historic district we worked closely with all of the contractors to minimize the impact to the exterior and maintain the historic fabric of the building. The design of the restaurant was a collaboration between Lott3 Metz, Richard Smith (Interior Designer), and all of the subcontractors which allowed for not only a highly successful design but a faster schedule and lower budget.
