The joint venture of Lott3 Architecture, LLC and F&V Construction Management has completed schematic design and the initial budget estimates for the village of Colon’s new community center. The new facility will house a multi-purpose activity center that will provide area residents with fitness and sports related programming while also giving the community a rentable space for receptions and banquets. The facility will also become the center of the community’s senior citizen support programs, providing meals and organized functions for local residents. Additionally, the village offices of Colon will have a space within the facility - making the new building active and functional throughout the day. The design was developed for clarity of circulation and use with an emphasis on simplicity of construction.
